Hello, and welcome back to my Architecture and Design Blog. I'd like to focus on something more concrete in terms of design, and I will continue to update my Development of Aesthetics series as well. But I'd like to introduce a new series to my blog which is my Analyzing Cities Series, where I will discuss the aesthetic merits of major cities around the world. I'd like to look at them from collective architectural standpoint, not individual architecture or urban planning perspective. I'd like to blog about these because I feel that architecture isn't just about individual buildings; they are also about the buildings around it.
To start, I'd like to do a series based on:
New York
London
Paris
Rome
Shanghai
Beijing
Hong Kong
Tokyo
Seoul
I will try to cover the general architectural styling and the general history of each style while still maintaining a good amount of content. Thank you very much!
